About the role 

Our company is growing, and the purchasing & design team is looking for a purchase controller with the purpose to drive forecasting processes, optimize stock levels and product flow. Another key area of responsibility will be to issue purchase orders, analyze and follow up on pricing, margins and other KPIs. You will report to the Purchasing Director with close interaction to the purchasing department, as well as other departments and external stakeholders.

How you make an impact

  • Analyze and follow up on sales, stock levels, margins and other relevant KPIs
  • Identify opportunities and risks, and turn it into action
  • Calculate and forecast purchases, optimize stock levels and product flow
  • Issue and follow up on purchase orders and deliveries
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Back-up for the logistics administrator

What you bring

  • Experience in purchasing control management
  • Experience and proficient in database management, analyzing and reporting data regarding inventory issues, stock levels, and trends.
  • A structured problem-solving approach and mind-set.
  • High energy, impact-oriented mind-set, and desire for personal development.
  • Fluent English and general understanding and comprehension of Swedish is a must.  
  • Being proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability and will to work in a team as well as high drive and self-motivated when working alone.
  • Preferably one to three years of experience in a similar position or corresponding university degree.
